Cosplay
I've always been the artistic type. In the past I've practiced with music, painting, illustration and design. For cosplay however, it all started in 2009 at my first convention with FanimeCon in San Jose. I had a little help from my family making a fun costume and went off to see what these conventions had to offer. Inspired by the cosplay and fashion that people displayed and the wonderful crafts that they were selling there, I bought some fun pieces to start me off. From there I started to make my own costumes and accessories and haven't been able to stop since. Working with fabric, needle, and thread is what comes most natural to me, but I've still had plenty of fun practicing with other methods of costuming.
Craft
While my main focus is in cosplay, I often have small crafting and apparel projects on the side. From custom bags to cute dresses, I often make things to compensate for what I can't find in stores.
